Tideline Command

Tideline Command is a proper thinking game that somehow works on a phone. You run a small coastal settlement, manage supply routes, and eventually build a fleet to defend against raids. It's part builder, part slow-burn tactics, and both halves feed each other nicely.

The pace is deliberate. You'll pause a lot, drag ships into formation, and watch a skirmish play out in slow motion. That suits touch controls well — there's no frantic tapping, just decisions. I spent one whole match just protecting a single fishing route and it was weirdly gripping.

The tutorial could be gentler; there's a lot to absorb early on. Once it clicks, though, the difficulty options let you dial in exactly how much you want to be challenged.
